Ingredients
1 Brioche Loaf
6 Eggs (whole)
2 Egg whites
½ cup Milk
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
4Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Nutmeg
½ tsp Salt
+ Butter

Preparation
Custard
Whisk the six whole eggs, two egg whites, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a shallow container.
Slice the day-old brioche loaf into thick slices (about ¾ inch).
Dip each slice of bread into the custard. Allow the bread enough time to soak on each side before flipping.
Turn up the Heat
Heat a non-stick griddle over medium heat.
Butter the griddle and drizzle a neutral oil, such as vegetable oil, over the surface of the hot griddle.
Fry each side of the bread for about one to two minutes or until golden.
